2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
5-oz. ( 2/3 cup ) evaporated milk
7-oz. jar ( 2 cups ) marshmallow creme
12-oz. pkg ( 2 cups ) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Line a 9x9 in. square or 13x9 in. pan with foil so that foil extends over sides of pan; butter foil. In lg. saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat (*set timer), stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallow creme and chocolate chips; blend until smooth with a wooden spoon. Stir in walnuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Cool to room temperature. Score fudge into 36 or 48 squares. Refrigerate until firm. Remove fudge from pan by lifting foil ; remove foil from fudge and cut through scored lines with a large knife.
Store in refrigerator.
Makes about 3 pounds

Sounds good except the last sentence "Makes about 3 pounds" - that means about 3 pounds added to my hips because I know I will not only eat my share but lick the spoon, scrape the pot and sneak (large) bites after everyone else is in bed! Yummm!!! Maybe I'll make some this weekend when all the older ones are supposed to be home so there won't be too much left over to tempt me!
