1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 Tbl. minced fresh rosemary
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8 in. slices
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
In lg. saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in rosemary, garlic, salt, pepper, Parmesan and potatoes.
Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 in. baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
Serves 8.
