4 T. butter
1 lg can pineapple chunks in juice
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1 T. soy sauce
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 c. cold water
Drain the canned pineapple, reserving the juice.
In 2 qt. saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and 1c. pineapple juice from the cans. Bring to a boil.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the cold water until smooth. Stir into the boiling brown sugar mixture and stir until thickened. Add the drained pineapple and stir until pineapple is heated through.
Serve with baked ham.
