1 1/2 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
6 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ( or swiss, mozzarella, etc)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 9" round or 8"x8" square baking dish with cooking spray.
Cook ground turkey and onion in a skillet with 1 T coconut oil until no longer pink; drain if necessary. Spread evenly in baking dish. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream and seasonings. Pour over the top of the meat mixture and shake the dish to distribute. Cover top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Top with your favorite burger toppings - pickles, lettuce, chopped tomato, bacon, guacamole, ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce, sauteed mushrooms, etc.
