I vary the ingredients based on what I have - sometimes I add frozen cherries or raspberries or fresh pineapple and a squeeze in some fresh lemon juice. I make this at least once a week, and it is a favorite of the grandkids.
1/2 c plain Greek yogurt (your choice non-fat or full-fat)
1/2 c. water
1/2 banana
1/4 c frozen blueberries
3-4 frozen strawberries, or about 1/2 c.
handful of fresh spinach leaves
1-2 T maple syrup or honey
splash of vanilla extract
1 T ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
*optional* 1/2 sm. avocado
*optional" 1/2 c frozen chopped okra
Put all ingredients in blender and blend on medium speed for 30 seconds, then on high for 10 seconds.
